The first episode is great if you are a fan of Star Trek, particularly The Next Generation. The first scene sets the tone of the show so great in comparison to ST.
Great series and lots of fun. Unfortunately, it never was fully resolved. If you're looking for something just as good, I highly recommend Battlestar Galactica. It's awesome! (we refer to it with its street name, reflecting its addictive nature, "Battlestress Gacracktica").
P.s. Kristen and I won't be making it as far as China, sadly. We will, however, be visiting Japan.
Yes sir, the only bad thing about firefly is that it's only thirteen episodes. Battlestar Galactica is also rather loveable. p.s. I heart Dexter. Watch it if you get a chance.
